Alpaqaytu is concerned about the environment and sustainability, which is why we decided to go a step further in the way we obtain the fiber we use in our yarns. A couple of years ago we started a pilot project in the alpaca community of Marampaqui based on regenerative livestock farming with the purpose of producing fiber, recovering the health of the ecosystem and mitigating climate change where these animals live. For this reason, we started this year offering a collection of regenerative yarns with alpaca fiber from this area in natural colors.
